Plan a drink spot for a parked car break
Choose a clear, level surface that supports the whole base, stays within easy reach and does not need to move during the break.

Start with the console surface
Use a broad, firm, level work surface only when its design and dimensions suit the setup. A crowned armrest, hinged lid or padded top may be unsuitable. Check for wobble and slope before setting down a drink; Steadi cannot make an unstable surface stable.
Sit first, then choose the spot
Place the drink beside your relaxed hand rather than across your lunch, phone or controls. Leave enough room to grip and lift it. The whole base must remain supported, with clearance from edges and from where elbows rest.
Keep access and controls clear
Do not obstruct a shifter, parking control, seatbelt latch, door exit or console opening. Move the drink before opening storage or adjusting the work surface. A wide lid is not automatically a safe or useful shelf.
Have an alternative
If the center console is rounded or too narrow, use the intended vehicle holder or choose a suitable table outside the parked vehicle. Avoid balancing the drink on a dashboard or a sloped seat just to make the accessory fit the scene.
Finish the break before moving
Remove the parked setup and stow drinkware and loose items appropriately before driving. Steadi provides a wider freestanding footprint; it does not anchor the drink or establish braking and vibration performance.
